Our self-serve electronic recycling program is a simple 4-step process.

    Drop off your package at UPS using the pre-paid label provided to you.

What happens once we receive your shipment? Well, it's not a whole lot different than if we were to pick it up ourselves.

  • Order confirmation

    We email you a confirmation receipt that we received your shipment and it's been checked into our system.

  • Data destruction

    If your device contains any data, we'll ensure it goes through our data destruction process.

  • Demanufacturing process

    The equipment is broken down and the material is sent to the appropriate department in our recycling facility.

  • Erasure and testing

    We'll check to see which parts of your e-waste is reusable.

Where are my packages getting sent?

ViaTeK has three recycling facilities in Arizona, Florida, and Georgia. We'll decide for you where the package gets sent based on where you order the box to. Your return label will have the facility information printed.

Is there anything I am not allowed to send?

Yes, we do not accept adhesives, aerosol cans, and devices with lithium-ion batteries over 300-watt hours, automotive fluids, butane lighters, e-cigarettes and cartridges, or any gas and/oil containing equipment. Please also don't include loose batteries, smoke detectors, thermostats, or thermometers. The maximum weight for a medium box is 20 pounds, and for a large box, it is 75 pounds. Is there an order limit?

No, you may order as many boxes as you'd like.

Is this service offered in Alaska or Hawaii?

No, unfortunately at this time, we are only offering this service in the continental states.

Is it hard to pack my equipment?

We will send instructions on how to pack your equipment. Just make sure to order the right sized box based on your equipment.
